Welcome to the New Forest
Otter, Owl and Wildlife Park!

Our Conservation and Wildlife Park is set in 25 acres of scenic and ancient woodland within the New Forest Heritage area that became a National Park in March 2005.

As you walk about the Wildlife Park you'll see some of Europe's largest gathering of otters, owls and other indigenous wildlife all in their natural surroundings including, pine martens, badgers, polecats, mink, foxes, Scottish wildcats, deer, lynx, wallabies and wild boar.

Take a stroll through the animal house and watch otters swimming underwater, ferrets chasing their tails and harvest mice building their homes on the top of corn stooks.

Wander through the night barn to see the snoring badgers and our red foxes. Then take the Wildlife Walkabout past more otters on the way to the see the owls in the Owlery and where also the tame fallow and sika deer graze, watched over by pine martens and wild cats.

After viewing the red deer meadow and crossing the boardwalk, Oden the lynx is often seen resting high up on his platform in the fir trees. A quiet stroll will next ensure our wallabies will cross your path on your way to the family of wild boar.

  • Tours - Everyday there are several Keeper Sessions where you can learn more about the animals.
  • Education - We offer activities for schools where children can learn about wildlife and the environment.
